Print Wizard is a multi-purpose ink cleaning product, effective at cleaning all aspects of printing machinery and the complete production environment. Safe for machines, people and the environment.

Micriolysis is the process that Print Wizard uses to clean. The molecules that make up the Print Wizard formulation react when mixed with water. As water is added to concentrated Print Wizard, these molecules move apart and start to vibrate. This vibration gives Print Wizard it’s cleaning power. The more water added to the concentrated Print Wizard the more the micriolysis process works. At 10% dilution the micriolysis process reaches its maximum levels of vibration, therefore delivering maximum cleaning performance.

Print Wizard requires water to work, 10% Print Wizard mixed with 90% water ensures the maximum cleaning performance. Stronger concentrations are not more effective and will not improve cleaning performance. In fact, 100% concentrate does NOT work!

We recommend you use a dilution pump system to regulate your dilution and usage of Print Wizard. Ensuring accurate 10% dilution is important to maintain cleaning performance and to remove any incorrect dilution that will not improve your cleaning but will only result in using more product, costing you more money.

We only recommend reducing to a lower dilution (2%-5%) when cleaning areas classed as ‘lighter application’ cleaning. However, if 10% dilution works for you then try diluting Print Wizard further.

Yes, these are inexpensive and easy to install. As Print Wizard is so machine friendly our pumps will last - they do not corrode or become damaged therefore the do not require replacement parts or maintenance.

No, Print Wizard is safe to use without any specialist equipment BUT we do recommend gloves as a standard working practice. (When using liquids or chemicals for a period of time, fingers can become ‘wrinkly’ due to constant contact, just like when you spend too much time in the bath!) Print Wizard can be heated to 98° degrees and requires no respiratory / breathing protection.

Print Wizard can clean a host of inks - standard water based, metallic gold and silver, white, titanium dioxide (Tio2), matt and gloss varnishes, un-cured uv digital and more. We recommend you try Print Wizard on your ink and see if it works.

If you have an ink you want to clean then give Print Wizard a go! Print Wizard will struggle with some solvent based inks that are composed of ingredients that are classed as ‘hazardous’. UV inks when cured require a more aggressive cleaning process, in the form of an acid. These cleaning chemicals ‘burn’ off the cured ink, but have safety issues and require specialist protective equipment (PPE).

Anilox rolls, ink chambers, rubber rolls, print cylinders, impression cylinders, pipes, pumps, all removable internal components, doors and steps can all be cleaned effectively. Print Wizard works well when pumped through the inking system via an automatic washing system or a bucket wash procedure. Alternatively, simply apply with a sponge to keep the internal area of your machines in good, clean condition.

All external areas and components can be cleaned using Print Wizard. Floors, work benches, doors, tools, quality control stations. Anything that has been covered in ink, oil, dirt or grease can be cleaned.

Yes, Print Wizard is perfect for cleaning polymer printing plates. Cleaned on press or off, fresh ink is quickly removed. Print Wizard can even clean neglected plates that have been left with dried on ink. Print Wizard is also compatible with in-line and off-line polymer plate cleaning machines.

Ultra-sonic cleaning systems, automated off and on press polymer plate cleaners, bucket washers, floor cleaning machines are all compatible with Print Wizard.

Yes, we strongly recommend you do not waste Print Wizard. If it foams, it still works! Bucket washes can be used multiple times, use the same bucket for cleaning polymer plates and press components such as ink chambers. Reuse and recycle, save product and money.
